How Does Zip Money Work?

After completing the short and quick sign-up process, Zip Money will be available to you right away. If you have a Facebook or PayPal account, you can sign up for Zip Money with the information from those accounts. Within seconds, your application will be approved, and you’ll be able to start paying with Zip Money immediately.

Step 1: Make an appointment with Smiles in Currambine.

Step 2: Visit Zip Money’s website. Choose an account that suits your needs. Fill out the online application and get a response immediately.

Step 3: Download and install the Zip Money app on your mobile device.

Step 4: When you arrive for your appointment at Smiles in Currambine, select Zip Money as your payment method at the front desk.

Step 5: Start your dental treatment.

Zip Money accounts may be subject to a one-time establishment fee. There is a monthly account fee of $6 and a minimum monthly repayment requirement. If you do not owe any money, the $6 account fee is waived. If you pay only the minimum monthly repayment amount, the purchase may not be paid out within the interest-free period. At the end of the interest-free period, any outstanding balance will be charged interest at the contractual rate.

Eligibility Requirements for Zip Money Payments

1. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form legally binding contracts.
2. You must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia.
3. You must possess a valid email address and a mobile phone number.
4. You must have an Australian bank account or credit card.
5. You must be able to provide your bank account or credit card number and basic information about yourself to complete the transaction.

What Specifically Are We Doing at Our Practice to Protect Patients?

Our strict protocol includes our receptionists establishing in advance if patients:

  • Have any symptoms including fever/history of fever and shortness of breath or a cough or a sore throat.
  • They have travelled overseas or interstate in the last 2 weeks.
  • Been in close contact with anyone who has had confirmed Coronavirus (COVID-19) or who has been in a health facility treating them.
  • Visited any exposure sites or high risk area as per Healthy WA

We would like to ask patients who have travelled to high-risk zones and exposure sites within the last 2 weeks to postpone non-urgent general dental treatment, if in doubt please call us on 9305 4888.
