Dr Saket Rai

Dr Saket Rai is a very passionate dentist who believes in providing high quality dentistry, in a professional and caring manner. He has over 15 years of experience in general dentistry with a keen interest in Dental Implants, wisdom teeth removal, laser dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and Digital Smile Design. He likes keeping abreast with the latest in dental technology and adopts them early into his practice, to stay at the forefront.

In 2004, Dr Saket Rai obtained the Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India, following which he worked as a dental surgeon in India for three years before moving to Australia to complete his Masters in Forensic Odontology at UWA. He completed his Australian Dental Council Examination in 2011 from Victoria and has since then been working in Perth, WA. In 2017, Dr Rai took ownership of Smiles in Currambine and is the principal dentist.

Dr Rai has a particular interest and extensive experience in dental implants. He began his dental implant training, in both surgical and restorative procedures, under the mentorship of Dr Michael Zaninovich (prosthodontist) and over the years he has attended several intensive courses by local dental professional like Dr Rick Lazar, Dr Misagh Habibi and also Internationally acclaimed industry leaders like Dr Radoslaw Jadach, Dr Sascha Jovanovic and Dr Ricardo Kern. Dr Saket Rai firmly believes in continuing professional education and self-development as the best means to providing the highest standards of care for patients.

When not at work, Dr Rai enjoys spending time with his 2 young boys and likes to read books, watch documentaries and cricket!
