How Do National Dental Plan Work?

High-quality dental treatment is more affordable with the National Dental Plan. You could begin with treatments worth up to $12,000 today and spread the cost over easy-to-manage fortnightly payments at no interest through the National Dental Plan.
It only takes a few minutes to complete the application process:

Step 1: Contact Smiles in Currambine to set up an appointment. After a thorough evaluation, we will tailor a treatment plan to fit your needs.

Step 2: Discuss payment plan options with your dentist. Inform your dentist that you wish to enrol in the National Dental Plan during your appointment.

Step 3: Our front desk will help you fill out an application form. Patients who meet the lending criteria can get approved in just a few minutes through the application process. You can also download the Humm mobile app or apply online at shophumm.com.au.

Step 4: Get started on your treatment right away and get the smile you deserve today!

A small deposit is required to enrol in the National Dental Plan, and no interest is charged. A deposit of 20% or less is typically required. You’ll have to pay an establishment fee of $70, spread throughout your agreement. You will be debited fortnightly repayments from your designated bank account or credit card, together with a monthly fee of $8 while your account is active. Additionally, you can make additional payments or pay out your dental plan early without incurring any extra fees.

Eligibility Requirements for the National Dental Plan

National Dental Plan will assess your application using its standard credit approval procedure. You must have a bank account or credit card from which payments can be deducted, and you must meet the following basic requirements:

Your Safety Is Our Top Priority!

We would like to take some time to let you know that we always follow strict universal infection control standards, and patient safety and the safety of our team is our priority.

The risk of exposure to the virus in our dental surgery is extremely low. We are an accredited dental practice and maintain the highest quality of care and standards at all times irrespective of any outbreaks such as Coronavirus.

We sterilise our instruments and disinfect all clinical and reception areas after each patient to prevent any risk of cross-contamination. Our staff are fully trained and certified to do this to the highest standards.

What Specifically Are We Doing at Our Practice to Protect Patients?

Our strict protocol includes our receptionists establishing in advance if patients:

  • Have any symptoms including fever/history of fever and shortness of breath or a cough or a sore throat.
  • They have travelled overseas or interstate in the last 2 weeks.
  • Been in close contact with anyone who has had confirmed Coronavirus (COVID-19) or who has been in a health facility treating them.
  • Visited any exposure sites or high risk area as per Healthy WA

We would like to ask patients who have travelled to high-risk zones and exposure sites within the last 2 weeks to postpone non-urgent general dental treatment, if in doubt please call us on 9305 4888.
